A detective believes he’s going to spontaneously combust in three days, so he decides to take on one final case: track down a missing golden dildo.
His whole life has been building to the fact that he’s going to spontaneously combust on his fifty-fifth birthday.
It led him to be grizzled and downtrodden, but with a strong sense of justice.

McGillicuddy, a down-on-his-luck detective believes he’s going to spontaneously combust when he turns 55 in three days.
Why? Because his detective mother combusted on her 55th birthday 21 years ago, his aunt combusted on her 55th birthday fourteen years ago, and his sister combusted on her 55th birthday seven years ago.
McGillicuddy has known this was going to happen his entire life, so he’s prepared for it. However, when a case walks in through his door, he decides to right one final case before he blows.
A man named Boyo has lost his missing golden dildo, and without it, he risks losing his life and his family. Unfortunately for McGillicuddy, Boyo refuses to tell him why it’s so important.
Over the course of our story, McGillicuddy will descend into the underground sport of Murderfuck in order to save Boyo, and possibly learn that no combustion is ever as spontaneous as it seems.
Vladimir Nabokov said art should educate, entertain, but also enchant.
I believe we're sorely lacking in enchantment these days, and I'm hoping to change that. I love to elicit a laugh. A guffaw is good. I'll take a titter. I'd even choose a chortle.
However it comes, I love to make people roll in the aisles with tears of joy in their eyes. But I want to do it my way with wordplay. Innuendos coming out all your ends. I want it weird, or not at all. Because the only way to the universal is through the specific.
We can only explore the human condition if we're plumbing the depths of each artist's individual souls. So, come peruse my plumbing.
Join me on a wild and wooly adventure that will dazzle you, enthrall, and maybe even scare you a little.
